beautycon Miss Universe New Zealand 2016 Philippines retreat: minisode 4

The Novotel Manila Araneta Center guard dog really, really wants to be Miss Universe New Zealand CEO Nigel Godfrey’s friend in our final retreat minisode for 2016! Hannah Jackson has come the furthest of any of our finalists, hailing from Invercargill, and enjoyed her time in the Philippines—and laments that when she returns home, she won’t be mobbed for photographs any more! Jade Norman talks of her love of coconuts which she sampled regularly at Plantation Bay in Cebu (which is just as well, considering UFC Refresh is a Miss Universe New Zealand sponsor!); Simrat Gill literally felt the heat with the fire dancing at JPark Island Resort & Waterpark in Cebu; and Elizabeth Lorimer showed off not just her modelling skills but her singing talents as she performed live at Plantation Bay’s Galapagos restaurant. Camilla Hand counted 15 courses at the Ibiza Beach Club dinner at the Mövenpick Hotel in Cebu—topped by Mövenpick ice-cream for dessert, not to mention a sampling of wine from hotel and vineyard owner, and our host, Manny O. Emma Nielsen had her Bench/ photo shoot at Novotel Manila Araneta Center on the last leg of our retreat; and Brittany Rees-Thomas admits to spending PHP7,000 on her shopping trip to Greenhills in San Juan, where she had two personal security guards carrying her bags! And of course the ladies shouted the security guards meals and drinks while there!
