We are on #4 on our celibacy journey and this time we are talking about sex and oh boy is it deep. Not long ago i found myself in a repetitive cycle of fornication and sexual immorality. I just oculdnt help myself falling and I regretted each time but something drew me back there. So this is month 13 and we are documenting the process of our journey.
You have probably heard sex being smashed on the pulpit, documented on television programmes, mis-represented in porn sites and spoken about amongst friends. Sex is universal for pleasure and reproduction. Sex is something that is known by all but very little in the way of knowledge is revealed. Do not awaken young lust before its time; there is a time and season for everything under the sun. Sex is beautiful and if you are a christian reading this; if your ears prick and your breathing pattern changes. Then we ought to look at the way sex is looked at withing Christianity; we have the wrong perception.
Sex is the biggest talking point in alot of our relational lives. In the walk of a believer we have heard so many soundbites and quotes concerning sex. How many times have you heard a pastor mention that sex is bad, sex is something we shouldn't be doing. So much vilification of sex and yet sex is supposed to be from God, we are supposed to have sex in marriage.
